Baler Philippines by Nomadic Babe

Mentioned Baler and the first thing that will pop up in everyone's mind is surfing! And this without a doubt is true. Sabang Baler beach is a real surfer's paradise. But more than surfing , the town is increasingly becoming popular not only to surfing enthusiasts, primarily because of its nature beauty, historical significance and other attractions such Dicasalarin Cove, Ermita Hill, Diguisit Falls, Museo De Baler and Ditumabo Mother Falls. And yes, we explored all of them. - Nomadic Babe

Siquijor Island, Paradise

Siquijor Island is located in Central Visayas, Philippines. The island is also tagged Isla Del Fuego or 'Island of Fire' because long ago, as Spanish Colonizers approached the island, they saw that it was glowing. The island then seemed to be on fire caused by multitude of fireflies that gathered together around the island.

The island
maintains its rich culture and traditions. It is famous for its traditions of folk healing using different kinds of herbal medicines, sorcery(witchcraft), supernatural beliefs and the like. In fact, Siquijodnons celebrate the 'Healing Festival' every Easter.

Siquijor is well-known for its people's ability in sorcery, but with all the bad connotations the island have, tourists and backpackers have fallen in love with the island.

Picturesque in every corner, this paradise offers a lot of beautiful scenery and well-preserved natural resources.

Siquijor has so much to offer, but let me share to you a few. The following pictures are not mine, and I am giving full credit to the owners.

Rody Duterte #tunaynapagbabago

Be Amazed to this Beautiful Place: Bolinao, Pangasinan Philippines

Bolinao Pangasinan Philippines

Bolinao, Pangasinan offers a colorful history, being the melting pot of culture that dates back to the Chinese' dynasty era when Chinese and neighboring Vietnam has always embark by its shores to trade goods during the 10th century. A pre-colonial time of the Philippines when it was once called the Maharlika.

Its northern and nothwestern tip features pristine golden sand beaches and a verdant colored sea as it faces directly west to provide a glaring view of the sunset and its waves are strong due to the vast West Philippine Sea where the waters originate.

We’ve been to Enchanted Cave, Wonderful Cave, Patar Beach,
Cape Bolinao lighthouse, Bolinao Waterfalls I & II, Bolinao City Hall and Bolinao Church St. James the Great Parish.

Such a beautiful place! Enjoy watching…
