Why Does He Not Commit?

You've invested your feelings. You've wasted your time. You've expected too much. Then all of a sudden, he disappeared. Nothing hurts more than being left alone.. hanging. You might wonder what you did or didn't do that made him leave you. But what can you do? If in the first place, all you had was mutual understanding.

Many women have been in this kind of 'relationship'. Well, who are we to blame men when they just get out of that MU-ship?

It started with text messages to frequent dates, calls and visits but somehow at some sudden point, you won't even see it coming that your man has started to be cold and unassertive. Hello, you've started just fine and seems to be having that 'steady' relationship, but then he tells you he isn't ready for a relationship yet. Worse, if he tells you he doesn't see a future with you. 

Well I know men can't be that rude, but there are really some guys who are good at the craft of hurting a girl's feeling by simply being frank. So, what do you do? You can't avoid these type of men. Because in the very first place they aren't just one type of men. All men are like that. Men don't jump into a relationship they know aren't worthy of commitment.

It's actually true to all of us regardless of our gender. People only step into something if inspired or if there is a necessity. You can't avoid these men, but more than sure you can turn the tables in your favor. Wait for my next article, I'll share you some tips.

Imagine yourself entering a record store. As you walked through the aisle of music records, you found the latest album of your favorite artist. What do you do? You either tell yourself 1.) Oh, I'll buy this. I had been waiting for this to be released. or 2.) I'll save for this. 

See? That is also how men look at you and women in general. If you are worth the commitment, you won't even need to feel like your 'relationship' is struggling every day. Your man will take the effort and every risk to be with you, or to be exclusive with you.

Now think of this. When you went out of that record store, you passed by another store that sells that same album that you wanted to buy; however, it offers a price tenfold cheaper. Obviously, they're selling an illegitimate version of the album. Well what's wrong with that? With the crisis we are facing, buying pirated materials has been convenient for most.

So what's my point here? My point is don't be the pirated disc. Here, think of the pirated disc as a woman. Like a pirated disc, that woman gives a man all that he needed. Unlike an original disc, this woman doesn't have a high value to that man.

Why would you look for an original disc if you already have used the pirated which gives you equal satisfaction? Same goes with how some men's brain work. Why would they commit to you if you've already given everything that he wanted from you?

He is already getting what he wants, and he knows you are not going anywhere. It's not that he wanted to take advantage of you. It's just that you are readily accepting how things are between the two of you. You are settling for the least, and even until the future you will be settling for the least. 

The bottom line here is don't be a chaser. Don't commit yourself to a man who treats you as an option.
